Lab Retreat in New Hampshire

On the first weekend of November, all members of the lab went together to Bartlett, New Hampshire in the White Mountains. After a long and eventful field season, this weekend trip was a good opportunity to recap the past months and to talk about our current plans. In Bartlett, we met up with the lab of Andrew Richardson from Harvard University. His lab is running a long-term micrometeorological tower in the Bartlett Experimental Forest. We joined in the long-term tradition to play a game of  “Capture the Flag” followed by a glass of wine or beer around a cozy bonfire.

On Sunday morning, we went on a short hike to a lookout over the Crawford Notch State Park.
